Finishing your cross stitch is such a satisfying moment, but finding the right way to display it can feel like a whole new challenge. The right frame can elevate your work, protect it for years to come, and turn it into something truly special for your home. That’s where professional cross stitch framers come in.


While it is possible to frame your project yourself, experienced professional cross stitch framers can bring that extra level of perfection. These are experts who understand the care, detail and craftsmanship that goes into embroidery and cross stitch, can help with mount choices and conservation framing, and ultimately create a finished piece you’ll be extra proud to hang on your wall. To make things a little easier, I’ve put together a directory of UK-based professional framers, starting with those in England.


Before we start, this is by no means an exhaustive list of cross stitch framers in England. I have included only those who have received recommendations by other cross stitchers, have positive reviews mentioning cross stitch framing, or who specifically mention cross stitch/needlework/embroidery framing on their website. If there is a framer that isn't included but you feel they should be, please do let me know and I can add them on.


I've organised the framers by county, and the counties are alphabetically listed, so you should be able to find what you need easily. And for those who are looking for framers in other areas of the UK, I plan to create these additional directories in the near future.
