The Herd Groyne Lighthouse has been an iconic figure of the North East coastline for almost 150 years, ensuring the safety of those entering and leaving the River Tyne and providing a backdrop to the lives of the people of South Shields. Not to mention it looks pretty cool, attracting artists, photographers and film makers!
 
All colours suggested within the pattern are DMC (although it would be interesting to see other takes on the colourway!).
 
Using 18 count aida will create a 5x7inch finished picture while using 14 count aida will create a 6.5x9inch finished picture.
